How to Shut off AT&T wireless Emergency Government Alerts on iPhones

AT&T recently added a wireless emergency alert update to iPhones.

The alerts just started coming through for me yesterday when we had some bad rain.

Wow. Have never seen this before. Boston: Flash Flood Warning. Emergency Alert.

I had my iPhone on SILENT MODE, but friends who didn't said the alert was jarring and loud. Like that Emergency Alert you hear on TV and RADIO.

How to Shut off AT&T wireless Emergency Government Alerts on iPhones:

Got so SETTINGS > NOTIFICATIONS.

There you can SHUT OFF:

- AMBER Alerts
- Emergency Alerts

iPhone Emergency Alerts Notifications.
